From Monday to Wednesday, the Women of Walton will be in action at Hope Ministries! Each day it will be from about 7p.m.-9p.m., but they ask for volunteers to arrive around 6:30p.m.. Hope Ministries serves the low income families through collecting food and clothing. They also invite others to join in the joy of giving through volunteering. It isn’t too late to sign up! Abbigail James is the Online Editor-in-Chief and a senior in her first year of journalism. Aside from writing, she enjoys horseback riding, participating in her church, and reading books of all genres. While reading, she listens to Dean Martin, Etta James, Frank Sinatra, and alike artists. After graduating, she plans on getting a master’s degree in psychology.
As the year comes to a close, I am appreciative of the chance to be the first Editor-in-Chief of the Paw Press. My hopes for incoming journalists exceed basic writing accomplishments and reach for a profound enjoyment of the honor it is to participate in the newspaper. Due to the solid foundation set for future staff members, I implore journalists to flourish at every flicker of an opportunity.
