The Friday before fall break, Ms. Blancher underwent her last chemo treatment. Students, teachers, and staff showed their support by wearing pink on Friday in celebration. Ms. Blancher stayed strong throughout her journey and went above and beyond, encouraging others alongside her treatment. She did not fail to show up for her students, even on days of chemo treatment. She has impacted many with her great math skills, sarcastic humor, and endurance. All grades came together because she means so much to us in the Walton-Verona district. Elementary, middle, and high schoolers participated in pink attire and celebratory cakes!
