For this week’s staff spotlight, the Paw Press will be introducing Mrs.Afterkirk. Mrs.Afterkirk is our high school’s new guru behind the front desk. We took some time to ask her a few questions about how she likes being a Bearcat so far and get to know her a little more and wanted to share it with our Newspaper, so everyone can know a little more about her as well.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to be a BEARCAT! From the moment I joined, everyone has been incredibly welcoming and supportive. It’s amazing to be part of such a fantastic team that feels more like a family. The energy and enthusiasm here are contagious, and I can’t wait to contribute and grow alongside such a great group of people. Thank you all for making me feel right at home!
I have a wonderful husband, Mike. Together, we have three energetic boys, Michael, Mason, and Matthew. Watching them play basketball, and baseball, is one of my favorite things to do. I love spending time with my family and friends. I love soaking in the sun, whether it’s on a beach, a boat, or by the pool. Our family wouldn’t be complete without our two lovable Labrador’s, Remi and Reece, and our sweet Dachshund, Luna Mae.”
