Saturday, December 7th, Walton-Verona’s High School Cheer team spread holiday cheer by hosting a festive “Pancakes with Santa” event for the community. Families were invited to join in the holiday fun in the cafeteria, where cheerleaders served stacks of warm pancakes to children with endless toppings like syrup and whipped cream. While enjoying breakfast, kids could take photos with Santa and tell ‘ol Jolly St. Nick what they want for Christmas. Families also enjoyed holiday crafts such as getting face painted by the cheerleaders and playing games. The money raised from the event went toward raising money for their upcoming season, and it’s a perfect way to kick off the holiday season, bringing families together for good food, fun activities, and a little extra Christmas magic.
