With spring break just around the corner, it is important to make sure that you are staying active and getting plenty of exercise while away from school. I thought it would be a perfect opportunity to see what our bearcats do away from school to keep active. Gavin Vonhandorf says that he will be on vacation in Gulf Shores, and will be doing plenty of swimming for exercise over the break. Some of our spring athletes said they would be practicing both at home and with the school over spring break to stay in the swing of things. Kennedi Craven says she will be playing sand volleyball to keep moving while away from school. Mr. Walters tells me he will be working out at home, and coaching baseball practices to be active all break. Whether it’s swimming in the Gulf, practicing a sport, or fitting in workouts, these students and teachers show that physical activity doesn’t have to stop when school does.
