This past Tuesday, Mrs. Smithers’ Fashion and Interior Design class partnered with the Preschool children to create an outfit to model in the cafeteria during Flex. Each student and preschooler spent their Flex time weekly to meet up and create the outfits you saw. Trial and error occurred, but everything turned out great!
The preschoolers brought big ideas and even bigger personalities to the project, inspiring everything from Ariel (The Little Mermaid) to a nurse costume. Every design reflected the personalities of the preschoolers and the thoughtful collaboration with their high school partners. The crowd’s excitement added to the fun, and the preschoolers model-walking lit up the room with their one-of-a-kind designs.
This collab was not just about outfits, though. Working together, being creative, and building connections was the real star of the show. The smiles and laughter shared made this event a huge success that will be remembered.
