Each week, students meet in Focus sessions, which follows them throughout their high school career. At which time, teachers and students learn valuable life lessons and skills equated with our very own Walton-Verona Advantage seeking to Engage, Evolve, and Achieve. But not all lessons entail paper and pencil or a textbook. Such was the case Thursday, during our bonding activities, where connections were built and interaction was achieved through Hula Hoops and Balloons. Ninth-grade students learned the importance of community and camaraderie in action while still having a blast. Way to go, Class of 2029!
