Garbage can or blue bin? We haven’t had recycling bins at Walton-Verona since 2019-2020. But in the first week of the school year, every teacher was sent an interest survey. This survey included a question about whether they would rather leave or bring recycling bins into their individual classrooms. 28 out of 36 teachers responded with yes and now have their own recycling bins! Thanks to the organizer of the cause, Maddi Ryan, for making sure they are properly collected and sorted on B and D days through the collection club. Students can sign up at SOS to help out! Every set of hands makes a difference, and together we can save the world one bin at a time.
