This Monday (10/27), we will be conducting our school-wide PSAT testing for grades 9, 10, and 11th grade. Such an opportunity has always proven beneficial to students and teachers in assessing abilities and needs for future education. Be ready with your chromebook and your mind charged!
Things to consider:
- Be rested – Adequate sleep helps consolidate memory, with sleep-deprived students showing a 40% deficit in learning new facts compared to their rested peers.
- Get a good breakfast – Studies indicate that breakfast consumption is linked to improved cognitive functions such as memory, attention, and concentration.
- Try your best – Research shows that effort, preparation, and good test-taking strategies are strongly linked to better performance.
Put forth your best efforts to get adequate results. Continue reinforcing WV’s theme – Tradition of Excellence through even the PSAT!
