Tuesday, teachers and faculty were shown appreciation in the form of waffles and toppings from Marty’s Waffles. The simplest of gestures, waffles in this case, speaks volumes to our Walton-Verona staff! Thank you for those who provided a sweet treat – crispy exterior, soft inside, sweet toppings!

Sophie Neumeister, a senior in high school and first-year Journalism student, holds the position of a writer and section editor for her school newspaper. With a passion for baking, Sophie enjoys crafting cookies and cakes while also finding joy in savoring her culinary masterpieces and mess-ups. Her family is her primary support system, and she cherishes quality time with her mother and nephew. An avid reader of thriller novels, Sophie prefers to enjoy books in a dimly lit room and a cup of tea. She plans to pursue a medical degree at UC, aiming to become a Nurse Practitioner.
