It’s that time of the year, Bearcats! This week is spirit week for homecoming and The Paw Press is hosting a competition for the best dressed student. We will have voting for each spirit day of the week. The form will be released this Friday in The Paw Press, as will the announcement of the winner. Should you win, you will receive gloating rights along with candy and a drink of your choosing!

Sophie Neumeister, a senior in high school and first-year Journalism student, holds the position of a writer and section editor for her school newspaper. With a passion for baking, Sophie enjoys crafting cookies and cakes while also finding joy in savoring her culinary masterpieces and mess-ups. Her family is her primary support system, and she cherishes quality time with her mother and nephew. An avid reader of thriller novels, Sophie prefers to enjoy books in a dimly lit room and a cup of tea. She plans to pursue a medical degree at UC, aiming to become a Nurse Practitioner.

Abbigail James, Chief Editor

Abbigail James is the Online Editor-in-Chief and a senior in her first year of journalism. Aside from writing, she enjoys horseback riding, participating in her church, and reading books of all genres. While reading, she listens to Dean Martin, Etta James, Frank Sinatra, and alike artists. After graduating, she plans on getting a master’s degree in psychology with a minor in biblical care and counseling.
