Fun, food, and camaraderie is always a plus amongst our staff at WVHS. Friday, 10/3, faculty, teachers, and families joined together at the WVHS Tailgate Party prior to the WVHS Football game. Attendee, Ms. Roberts expressed her enjoyment in an interview:

“The staff tailgate this weekend was a blast! I thoroughly enjoyed my time eating yummy snacks and visiting with my coworkers.  I was able to chat with Ms. Mitchell and grew our friendship even further, which was so fun! She also taught me more about football than I ever imagined I would know – shoutout Ms. Mitchell!  I am so thankful the district put this event on for us and created a space to help our school community grow.  While the game didn’t go how we hoped it would, I would still consider the night an excellent success.  Special shoutout to whoever made the macarons for the tailgate, they were DELICIOUS!”

Props to all parties who made it happen! The fun was had by all to such a degree, no time for photos. Maybe next year…Thanks to all who participated and organized.
