Holidays can be a hard time for many within our community, and especially when one is unable to provide what most would consider miniscule – a Christmas dinner. To assist, in hopes of taking away one pressure from those within our community, WVHS Senior Beta team sponsored a Christmas Food Drive amongst our focus groups. Each group was asked to provide a list of food items most will find at their Christmas dinner table: green beans, corn, stuffing, mac ‘n cheese, yams, augratin potatoes, and brownies. While NTI may have prevented a record collection, as has been in times past, we were still able to collect nine total boxes as well as, two boxes of random items.

Congratulations to Mrs. Core-Stine’s focus group for submitting the first completed box as well as, Ms. Whelan for completing two boxes independently. Also, shout-out to Ms. Mosier (and her daughters) and Mrs. Sampson (family) for submitting boxes on your own.

It truly is a season of giving at WVHS!
