The start of the third quarter at Walton-Verona has brought a sense of motivation and excitement for the approaching spring season. For many students, the third quarter marks a reset. New seating charts, upcoming state testing, and the push toward spring activities, which overall encourages students to stay focused and organized. After this undermining winter, I feel that spring, with its warmer weather on the horizon, will create a shared sense of anticipation for what the rest of the school year will bring.
