From a student’s perspective,NTI days are… awesome. Instead of walking to my first-period class and sitting down, I got to start my morning by logging onto my computer and checking if any assignments had been posted. I really enjoy the freedom of working from home. I can go at my own pace,stay comfortable in my own bed, and take short breaks when I feel like I need them. My teachers provided clear instructions, and everything is easily accessible online. It does feel different from a normal school day, but I still learned a lot and felt proud of what I got done. NTI may be non-traditional, but the first NTI day of this school year reminded me that learning can happen anywhere, as long as you stay motivated and try your hardest!
