In the first two weeks of school, over 150 Chromebook chargers have been turned into the tech room due to an issue. Now, I remind you Walton Verona High School is only home to 519 students as of the 25-26 school year, which means 30% of the students had to get a new charger early into the school year. Now the tech room averages around 20+ people per day with issues ranging from chargers to Chromebook problems. We do not have an exact reason pinpointed on why the chargers aren’t working, but a student in Help Desk thinks most results come from a faulty battery or outdated drivers. So, perhaps the chargers are both faulty and old.
