At Walton-Verona High School, teachers and adminstrators proved they still have game during a recent student vs. staff matchup held in the high school gym. The highly anticipated event brought energy, competition, and plenty of school spirit as students face off against the very people who teach and lead them throughout the week. Despite the students’ enthusiasm and strong effort, the staff ultimately came out on top. Teachers and administrators worked together with surprising coordination and effort, showing that experience can sometimes beat youth. The Basketball game kept spectators engaged, with both sides making quite impressive plays on the court. Events like this highlight the positive relationships within the school and give students and staff a chance to connect outside of the classroom. Even though the students didn’t win, the game was a fun and memorable experience for everyone involved!
